April 24, 2026, is shaping up to be a big day for anyone into Pokémon Trading Card Game. The Ascended Heroes expansion is getting not one but two fresh releases that’ll catch the eye of both players and collectors. If hunting down Ascended Heroes cards has felt like chasing rare candy, these new sets could be just what you need.
First up: The Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle packs more than just cards
This new Booster Bundle is a neat package for anyone wanting a solid batch of Ascended Heroes cards without the headache of singles hunting or overpriced resellers. Each bundle comes with six booster packs, and each pack has 10 cards, a Basic Energy card, plus a Pokémon TCG Live code card to use online. That means you’re not only getting physical cards but digital goodies as well.
The cards inside feature a mix of Trainers’ Pokémon, Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, and a bunch of Mega Evolution Pokémon ex – some making their debut with fresh artwork and some returning favorites. These special and rare cards are bound to make any collection pop.
If you want one, the official Pokémon Center is your best bet for the $23.94 MSRP, but so far preorders aren’t live there. TCGPlayer has listings, but prices are high – around $102.95 plus shipping – so patience might pay off here.
Later this month: Three Mega ex Boxes, but you can’t pick which one you get
Not done yet, the Ascended Heroes line is also releasing three Mega ex Boxes. Each box centers on one of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s partner Pokémon, but heads-up: when you order, it’s a surprise which one you’ll get. Your options include Mega Meganium ex, Mega Emboar ex, or Mega Feraligatr ex.
These aren’t just any promo cards. The foil promos boast stunning designs with jagged energy lines bursting out of the frame, reminiscent of classic Mega Evolution cards from the XY Series and recent special illustration rares. They’re a visual treat for anyone who’s been collecting for a while.
Each Mega ex packs serious punch in battle. Mega Meganium ex can lay down a Giant Bouquet attack that dishes out massive damage. Mega Emboar ex’s Crimson Blast is fiery and destructive, while Mega Feraligatr ex goes for the kill with Mortal Crunch, targeting weakened foes.
Each box also comes with an oversized lenticular promo card of the featured Mega ex. While opinions on these big cards vary – because fitting them into a binder is tricky – they’re a fun extra. Plus, you get four Ascended Heroes booster packs tucked inside for more card-opening excitement.
Amazon has restocked preorders for these boxes at $36.99, but remember, you can’t choose which partner Pokémon’s box you get. So it’s a bit of luck mixed with excitement.
Both of these new Ascended Heroes products arrive this month, and they’re perfect for anyone wanting to dive deeper into the Mega Evolution scene or add some striking new cards to their collection. With Ascended Heroes cards flying off shelves, these releases look like a solid way to get your fix.
