Squirrel with a Gun, one of the latest additions in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium April 2026 lineup, has just received a free Pride Month DLC, and it’s packed with colorful new content.
The update is live now on the PS Store and brings a mix of new gameplay features, cosmetics, and a themed area that adds a fresh twist to the experience.
What’s Included in the Pride Month DLC
This isn’t just a basic cosmetic drop. The Pride Month DLC adds meaningful gameplay elements that change how you interact with the world.
One of the highlights is the rainbow car spawner, which lets you cruise around in a vibrant ride. Using it unlocks a new “rainbow road” challenge, turning your run into a timed, high-energy race with a colorful twist.
Pride Mode Introduces a New Area and Tank Gameplay
The standout addition here is Pride Mode.
Once activated, it unlocks a brand-new area called Pride Street, decorated with Pride-themed visuals and flags. Completing the rainbow road challenge also gives you access to the Pride tank, which adds a chaotic edge to gameplay.
However, there’s a catch. Driving the tank immediately alerts enemy agents, so expect more intense encounters while using it.
New Outfits and Visual Effects
The DLC also includes nine Pride-themed outfits, letting you customize your character with bold, colorful styles.
On top of that, your throwing reticle gets a rainbow effect, adding a subtle but fun visual upgrade to moment-to-moment gameplay.
