LinkedIn Tango Answer

Six rows, six columns, half suns and half moons and the equal signs and crosses between cells tell you exactly which pairs must match or differ. Everything you need to solve it is there on the grid. Here’s today’s completed solution.

Today’s Tango Answer

Puzzle #656 — July 26, 2026

🌙 🌙 ☀ 🌙 ☀ ☀ 🌙 🌙 ☀ ☀ 🌙 ☀ ☀ ☀ 🌙 🌙 ☀ 🌙 ☀ ☀ 🌙 ☀ 🌙 🌙 🌙 🌙 ☀ 🌙 ☀ ☀ ☀ ☀ 🌙 ☀ 🌙 🌙 = = = × = = = = = × × = × × × ×

The rules in plain terms

Fill every cell with either a sun or a moon. Each row and each column must contain exactly three of each. You can’t place three identical symbols in a row — two in a row is fine, three is not. Some adjacent cells are marked with = (must match) or × (must differ) — those clues are your starting point.

Tango launched in October 2024 and quickly became one of LinkedIn’s most-played games. That 80% return rate the developers reported didn’t surprise anyone who played it, there’s something satisfying about a grid that always has a clean logical path to the answer.

How to approach it

Start with any row or column that already has two of the same symbol placed that forces the remaining positions to alternate. Then work through the = and × constraints from there. If two cells are marked = and the first is determined, the second follows immediately.

The “no three in a row” rule does a lot of work once a row is half-filled. It often eliminates an entire symbol from a cell without needing to check anything else.
