Fortnite Crew subscribers, listen up! Starting June 6, 2026, the monthly V-Bucks reward you get with your subscription is dropping from 1,000 to 800. Epic Games has finally set a date for this change, which was announced a while back but delayed until now. So if your Crew subscription renews after that June day, expect fewer V-Bucks hitting your account each month.
Fortnite Crew V-Bucks Reduction: What’s Changing on June 6, 2026
Fortnite Crew has been a solid deal for players who want the Battle Pass, exclusive cosmetics, and a steady monthly supply of V-Bucks. Up until now, that monthly V-Bucks bonus has been 1,000. But from June 6, 2026, subscriptions renewing on or after that date will only grant 800 V-Bucks per month.
This was confirmed in a post on X by Fortnite insider HYPEX, who shared an official email stating: “For subscriptions renewing on or after June 6, 2026, the V-Bucks grant in Fortnite Crew will change from 1,000 to 800 V-Bucks. You will continue to receive 1,000 V-Bucks until then.” So, if you renew before this date, you’re still good for the full 1,000 V-Bucks.

— HYPEX (@HYPEX) April 6, 2026 What Fortnite Crew Still Includes in 2026
Even with fewer V-Bucks, Fortnite Crew does bundle a lot into its monthly fee. Aside from the V-Bucks, it includes the current Battle Pass, the OG Pass, LEGO Pass, Music Pass, and premium Rocket Pass access for Rocket League. The V-Bucks you do get each month are still handy for grabbing those cool skins, emotes, and other cosmetics in the shop.
Epic also recently adjusted the pricing for V-Bucks and the Battle Pass, lowering the Battle Pass price while reducing V-Bucks rewards. This latest change to Fortnite Crew fits into that bigger picture of tweaking Fortnite’s in-game economy.
So, if you’re subscribed, mark June 6 on your calendar. The V-Bucks hit your wallet a bit lighter, but the other perks stay put. If you want to squeeze the most out of your current subscription, renewing before then makes sense.
